Can I have my order delivered?

• Unfortunately, unless you are located within our delivery area, you will need to arrange to pick your order up from the bakery at the allocated time. If you are local, then a delivery may be possible for a fee which you will see when you check out.
• Local Deliveries are made on Fridays unless arranged otherwise.
• (This excludes our cookie collection which can be shipped throughout the UK and if you request a "special occasion" order which can be personally delivered to your desired location at a fee.)

When and where can I pick up my order?

• If you order by Monday 3pm, your order will be ready that week, if you order after Monday 3pm, then your order will be ready the following week.
• Pick up is on every Friday 9am-4pm from the bakery at the address: 37 Cleghorn Drive, Broxburn, EH52 6EH. Please head straight to the bakery through the side gate and knock on the doors.
• We apologise that pick up time is limited. We aim to add more pick-up days and times in the future, however, that is not possible at the moment :(

When will I get my cookies?

• If you order by Monday 3pm and choose for your cookies to be shipped to you, we aim to send your cookies on Wednesday with express delivery to arrive at your door by Thursday or Friday.
• If you order by Monday 3pm and choose to pick up your cookies at the bakery, they will be fresh and ready for you to collect on Friday between 9am and 4pm.
• If you order after Monday 3pm then your order will be completed as above for the following week.

Do you cater to dietary requirements such as gluten free, dairy free, nut free, or vegan?

• As of right now we do not offer any products that cater specifically to any dietary requirements, however, our sourdough is vegan! Many of our products do not include nuts but we are a premises that handles them, so traces of nuts may be found.

Can I customise or modify my cake?

• Unfortunately we do not accept any modifications to our set products. Any custom cakes can be made through our "special occasion" orders and we will try our best to meet your needs.

How do I cancel my order

• Contact us through email at info@remibakery.com or using the contact form for us to cancel and refund your order. Please ensure you cancel a minimum of 72 hours before the pickup/shipment date as we will not be able to refund you otherwise.

I'm not sure what size of cake I need?

• When purchasing a cake, we try to write approximately how many people the cake will serve.

How do you calculate how many people your cakes serve?

• Cake servings depend on the method of cutting the cake and the expected serving size. We all love cake, but not everyone sees one serving as the same size. We have calculated estimates based on online research and personal experience. If you like your cake slices extra big (like we sometimes do), then you may want to consider a larger size.

How do I transport my cake safely when driving?

• please transport the cake on a flat surface, in the boot of the car on a non slip surface or on the floor of the front passenger seat on a non slip surface.

Do I need to refrigerate the cake?

• Yes, all of our signature cakes should be refrigerated except our loaves.
• Our fresh cream cakes should be served straight from the fridge. Our ganache and buttercream cakes should be taken out of the fridge around 1 hour before serving.

How long can I keep the cake in the fridge for?

• We recommend finishing any of our cakes within 48 hours.

Where do you bake?

• We have a small bakery built in our garden. This is where we do all of our baking and where we keep all the ingredients and packaging for your orders.

Are you a registered baking business?

• Yes. We are registered with West Lothian Council. It is important to us to be registered and legal and to adhere to all food safety regulations.
